The Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History visited Pre-K students at Union Hall Elementary School for a Crazy Quilts presentation on January 17. Karan Johnson talked to the students about the history of quilts and the different uses for them. Ms. Johnson explained to them that quilts were made from fabric just like their clothing. She engaged the students by having color word cards and having the students find the colors on the quilts. Each student also made their own Crazy Quilt to take home.
